The Victoria was launched on 14 July 1951, at the Unión Naval de Levante shipyards in Valencia. It connected Algeciras and Ceuta from its maiden voyage on 14 June 1952, until it was scrapped in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Catalonia) on 13 July 1982. It measured 95 meters in length and could carry up to 808 passengers and 100 vehicles. It was the first Spanish ferry built by Spanish shipyards.

MV Spirit of British Columbia is an S-class ferry, part of the BC Ferries fleet active along the British Columbia coast. The ship was completed in 1993 and serves the Tsawwassen–Swartz Bay. In late 2017, Spirit of British Columbia departed for Poland to undergo its mid-life refit. The refit included conversion to dual-fuel propulsion. The $140 million refit was completed by Remontowa Ship Repair Yard in Gdańsk. The ferry returned to service in June 2018.

The Konung Gustav V was a Swedish railway ferry that operated in the Baltic Sea from 1910 to 1968. It was launched in June 1909 at the Lindholmens Verkstad shipyard in Gothenburg for the Swedish State Railways (Statens Järnvägar). The ferry could accommodate up to 18 passenger cars on two tracks totaling 165 meters in length and had space for up to 975 passengers. It began regular service on 14 March 1910, on the so-called "King's Line" between Trelleborg (Sweden) and Sassnitz (Rügen, Germany), which had been inaugurated on 6 July 1909. From November 1945, the Konung Gustav V operated a ferry service from Trelleborg (Sweden) to Gdańsk (Poland), and from April 25, 1946, to the Polish port of Gdynia. During this service, more than 1,300 railway cars were transported to Poland, provided by Sweden as a contribution to postwar reconstruction. In July 1959 the Konung Gustav V was withdrawn from regular service, and in 1968 it was sold for scrap and scrapped in Ystad (southern Sweden).

The ferry Ibn Batouta was launched at the Seine-Maritime shipyards (France) on 10 March 1966, and entered service on 15 July of that year on the Tangier-Málaga route. Later, it was transferred to the Tangier-Algeciras route, from which it occasionally departed to make pilgrimage trips to Mecca. In June 1998, the Ibn Batouta was sold to the Bright Eclipse company and registered in São Tomé under the new name Valentina. In September of the same year, the vessel was detained in the Greek port of Piraeus on charges of human smuggling and was eventually sold for scrap. In November 2001, it arrived in Aliaga (Turkey), where it was dismantled.

Moltzau Line was a Danish shipping company which, under different names, operated car and passenger ferries on the route between Gedser (Denmark) and Travemünde (Germany) from 1962 to 1990 and, after German reunification, between Gedser and Rostock from 1990 to 1996. In 1996 the company was sold to DSB and since 1997 the Gedser–Rostock crossing has been owned by Scandlines.

Color Line AS is the largest cruiseferry line operating on routes to and from Norway. The company is also one of the leading operators in Europe. Color Line provides transportation for people and cargo, hotel accommodation, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The company was established in 1990 when two Norwegian shipping companies, Jahre Line and Norway Line merged.

Västtrafik is the agency responsible for public transport services involving buses, ferries, trains, and the Gothenburg tram network in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden (plus Kungsbacka Municipality). It was established with the Västra Götaland County on 1 January 1998. Until 31 December 2011 the ownership was shared equally between the Västra Götaland Regional Council and the 49 municipalities in the region, from 1 January 2012 the county council is the sole owner. The fleet consists of approximately 1900 vehicles.

The Marrakech is a ferry built in 1986 by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire (France) for Comanav. It was launched on 23 November 1985 and put into service on 21 May 1986 between Tangier and Sète. In January 2013, he was detained in Sète following the bankruptcy of Comanav, and in April 2014 he was sold at auction to the company Prodomo in Casablanca. Its length is 126.78 m and its length is 20.35 m. It has a capacity for 634 passengers and 224 vehicles.

The Grand Manan V was designed by Danish architect Knud E. Hansen and belongs to the fleet of the Coastal Transport Ferry Company, based in Saint John, New Brunswick. She was launched in 1990. She has capacity for 65 cars and 300 passengers. It connects the port of Blacks Harbour (Charlotte) with Grand Manan Island.

The ferry Innisfallen was launched in 1969. She sailed the Cork-Swansea route. In 1983 Innisfallen was sold to Corsica Ferries who renamed her Corsica Viva. There were several more changes to her name. In 2003 she was sold to Sancak Lines, Turkey, who renamed her Derin Deniz. She was broken up in 2004.

MV Isle of Mull (Scottish Gaelic: An t-Eilean Muileach) is one of the larger Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited ferries operated by Caledonian MacBrayne from Oban on the west of Scotland. She was designed for the route between Oban and Craignure on the Isle of Mull. After being launched on the Clyde on 8 December 1987, she entered service on 11 April 1988. The totally enclosed car deck has room for up to 70 cars. Above the car deck are two levels of accommodation, providing shelter and facilities for up to 1000 passengers.
