Rogers Centre (originally SkyDome) is a retractable roof stadium in downtown Toronto, situated at the base of the CN Tower near the northern shore of Lake Ontario. Opened in 1989 on the former Railway Lands, it is home to the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). As well as being improved over the decades, during the MLB offseasons of 2022–24, the stadium was renovated by upgrading the sports facilities and hospitality whilst reducing the capacity for baseball games. While it is primarily a sports venue, the stadium also hosts other large events such as conventions, trade fairs, concerts, travelling carnivals, circuses and monster truck shows. Air Dolomiti S.p.A. L.A.R.E (Linee Aeree Regionali Europee) is an Italian regional airline, wholly owned by Lufthansa, fopunddd on 30 December 1989 by the Linee Aeree Europee (L.A.E). It started airline operations in January 1991. It has its head office in Dossobuono, Villafranca di Verona. Its main bases are at Munich Airport and Frankfurt Airport in Germany. Air Dolomiti operates routes from several Italian destinations to and from Munich and Frankfurt. Most of these services are sold under the Air Dolomiti brand and codeshare with Lufthansa, while a few remain under the Lufthansa brand.

The ATR 42 is a regional airliner produced by Franco-Italian manufacturer ATR, with final assembly in Toulouse, France. On 4 November 1981, the aircraft was launched with ATR, as a joint venture between French Aérospatiale (now part of Airbus) and Aeritalia (now Leonardo S.p.A.). The ATR 42-500 series, the development of which having been originally announced on 14 June 1993. Performing its maiden flight on 16 September 1994, and awarded certification by the British Civil Aviation Authority and France's DGCA during July 1995. On 31 October 1995, the first ATR 42-500 was delivered to Air Dolomiti.

Fendi Srl is an Italian luxury fashion house producing fur, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, fragrances, eyewear, timepieces and accessories. Founded in Rome in 1925 by fashion designers Edoardo Fendi and Adele Casagrande, Fendi is known for its fur, fur accessories, and leather goods. Since 2001, Fendi has been part of the "Fashion & Leather Goods" division of the French group LVMH. Its headquarters are in Rome, in the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana.

The current building of the Tivoli Theatre in Barcelona, ​​located on Casp street, was inaugurated on 20 May 1918. It was built according to a project by the architect Miquel Madorell i Rius (1869-1936). It has a capacity for 1,643 people. After the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) it was used as a cinema, until it was restored to its former status as a theatre on 22 December 1982. In 1989 the building was put up for sale and was on the verge of being turned into a leisure and commercial centre, but in 1991 it was finally restored as a theatre, alternating theatre performances with film sessions and all kinds of shows, such as classical and modern dance and music recitals, especially by singers and songwriters. It was sometimes the scene of political and trade union events.

The Saint-Georges-de-Commiers – La Mure narrow gauge railway line opened on 24 July 1888 to serve the La Mure coalfield, and was electrified in 1906. It was in service until 12 May 1936. It had a length of 30 km, and had to overcome a difference in altitude of 600 m; To make it possible, six viaducts and eighteen tunnels had to be built. Between 1989 and 2010, a tourist line operated along its route.

The Virgen de África was a Transmediterránea Company ferry built in Valencia by the Unión Naval de Levante shipyard in 1953. Its length was 103.6 m and its beam was 16.6 m. She was scrapped in 1989.

MS SeaFrance Cézanne was a ferry has spent the majority of her career serving the Dover-Calais cross channel route with successive operators, Sealink, SNCF & SeaFrance.  She was launched at the Kockums Varv AB shipyard in Malmö, Sweden on 13 October 1979 and delivered to Rederi AB Nordö in January 1980. In February 1980, she was renamed Soca opening a service between Koper, Yugoslavia and Tartous, Syria. In late 1981 Soca was sold to Bulgarian So Mejdunaroden Automobile Transport (SOMAT) and renamed Trapezitza. In October 1988 she was purchased by Sealink British Ferries and renamed Fantasia. After a short refit in Bremerhaven in 1989 she was renamed Channel Seaway and began operating a freight service between Dover and Calais. In October 1989 Channel Seaway was to be given to SNCF and becoming Fiesta. On 1 January 1996 SNCF' new SeaFrance service began, with Fiesta, which was renamed to SeaFrance Cézanne. In 2011 the ship was sold to Belize interests and renamed Western Light. In October 2011 she departed from Dunkerque for Alang, India for scrapping.

The Empresa de Transportes Gondomarense (Gondomarense Transport Company) was founded in Gondomar in 1939 as a result of the merger of four of the six regular collective transport companies that operated in that town. In 1989 the company was acquired by the Brazilian group JAL, created in 1975 by José Alves Lavouras.

The ship Juan March was built in Valencia by the shipyards of the Unión Naval de Levante, for the Compañía Transmediterránea. She was launched on December 4, 1965 and entered into service in July 1966. Her overall length is 130.80 m, and her beam is 19.25 m. Initially she had capacity for 500 passengers in berths and 250 in seats. In 1985 Transmediterránea sold it to Sol Mediterranean Services Ltd., of Cyprus, which called it Sol Christina, and in 1986 it was bought by another Cypriot company Opal Lines, which called it Kipros Star and kept it in service until 1989. Later it became owned by Shipping and Commercial Corp. and had various names: Ocean Majesty (1989 - 1995), Homeric (1995) and, again, Ocean Majesty (since 1995).
