The Marrakech is a ferry built in 1986 by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire (France) for Comanav. It was launched on 23 November 1985 and put into service on 21 May 1986 between Tangier and Sète. In January 2013, he was detained in Sète following the bankruptcy of Comanav, and in April 2014 he was sold at auction to the company Prodomo in Casablanca.
