INNSBRUKER NORDKETTEN BAHNEN, Austria. Nordkette cablecar ticket (2017)

INNSBRUKER NORDKETTEN BAHNEN

Nordkette cablecar ticket Nº 6/15826
10.08.2017
Eur 0,00

The Innsbruck Nordkette cablecars in Tyrol provide access to the Nordkette, the southernmost mountain range of the Karwendel. The route is divided into three sections, from the center of Innsbruck, through the Hungerburg district, to the Seegrube station (1,905 m above sea level) and finally to the Hafelekar mountain station (2,269 m above sea level). Section 1, from Innsbruck's Old Town to Hungerburg, is served by the Hungerburgbahn funicular, while sections 2 and 3, to the Seegrube and Hafelekar stations, respectively, are served by two cable cars with a total of three cabins. On 9 July 1928, the first section, 2,885 m long, from Hungerburg to Seegrube (1,905 m above sea level), was opened. On July 21 of the same year, the second, upper section, 752 m long, from Seegrube to Hafelekar, was opened. Two cabins operated in connecting service on the lower section, and one cabin on the upper section. The station buildings were designed by the architect Franz Baumann.

EXPO 2008
Zaragoza

Round-trip adult ticket for the Telecabina [gondola lift]
9,00 EUR

Graphic artwork: J. M. Broto.

Expo 2008 was an international exposition held from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, September 14, 2008, in Zaragoza, located in a meander of the Ebro River, with the theme of "Water and Sustainable Development."

The Expo 2008 gondola lift connected the Delicias intermodal station (railway and bus) with the Expo 2008 exhibition site. It departed from the vicinity of the station, to which it was connected by a pedestrian walkway. During the journey, the lift flew over the Ebro River, offering views of both the Expo site and the western part of Zaragoza. The facility consisted of 50 cabins (48 operational and two reserve) with a capacity of eight people each. The gondola lift could carry 2,600 people per hour and was in operation during the Expo period. The facility was dismantled in May 2025.
