Postcard issued by the shipping company.

Built in 1895 at the A. G. Vulkan Werke shipyards in Stettin, Germany, under the name Crefeld, it was acquired by the Spanish government on 25 October 1918, and assigned to the Trasmediterránea Shipping Company by Royal Order of 16 February 1924. It served as a transatlantic mail ship, beginning its voyages in Barcelona and stopping at the ports of Málaga and Cádiz, among others, before completing its journey in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. On 20 October 1924, it was renamed Teide and underwent extensive refitting at the Nuevo Vulcano shipyard in Barcelona. Initially intended for traffic to the Canary Islands, in February 1931 it was incorporated into the Guinea route, which until then had been served by the Compañía Trasatlántica and which, from that date onward, was operated by the Compañía Trasmediterránea. On 15 May 1932, it set sail from Barcelona on what would be its final voyage. On 20 May, it left Cádiz by the stern, with 35 passengers and 110 crew members, bound for Santa Isabel on Fernando Poo. In Monrovia, 65 laborers boarded to work on board, and they were scheduled to disembark at the same port on the return journey. In San Carlos, 400 native passengers boarded for Bata, and it was during this crossing, at 3:00 a.m. on 8 June, that the Teide ran aground at Punta Oscura, southwest of Fernando Poo Island, in a place called Etepo by the natives, next to the Baña River and very close to Punta Sagre. Fortunately, there were no personal injuries, and both the passengers and crew were picked up by the British-flagged mixed vessel Appam and taken to Santa Isabel." The J.J. Sister was built by Navigazione Genérale Italiana at the Odero shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Genoa, in 1896. Flying the Italian flag, her name was Galileo Galilei, she served with the islands of Sardinia and Sicily. She was part of the Compañía Valenciana de Vapores Correos de África (Valencian Company of African Mail Steamers) and, from 1916, the Compañía Trasmediterránea (Transmediterranean Company). She served on various routes and was a prison ship during the Spanish Civil War. She was scrapped in 1964.

The steamship Mallorca, the fourth and last ship with this name, was built at the Odero shipyard in Sestri Levante (Italy) in 1914, commissioned by the Isleña Marítima company. She measured 90.60 meters in length, 11.76 in width, 8.10 in depth and draft 5.8 meters. Its displacement was 3,850 tons and it had 2,204 gross register and 1,198 net register, its maximum load being 955 tons. She was equipped with a triple expansion steam engine with four boilers and 12 furnaces. Her maximum speed was about 17 knots. She arrived for the first time at the port of Palma de Mallorca on 3 December 1914, but until the summer of 1915 she was not transferred to Barcelona, ​​where she was laundered before returning to Palma, being then assigned to the Palma-Barcelona line. After the First World War it remained in the hands of the Trasmediterránea Company. In the early 1930s she was shifted to secondary duty as a reserve ship. When the Spanish Civil War broke out, she was assigned to the navy of the rebel side as an auxiliary ship and transferred to La Spezia to arm her as an auxiliary cruiser: she was fitted with a 120 mm cannon, another anti-aircraft gun, 76mm. and two 13 mm machine guns. He was then assigned to the naval base of Palma, and participated in various actions (transporting troops and war supplies and, sometimes, as a surveillance and repression unit for ships transporting weapons and supplies for the government of the Republic). In April 1937, with two other ships, she carried out the transfer of a large contingent of troops from Palma to Cádiz. At the end of the war she took part in the conquest of Menorca by the national troops, as a troop transport. After the war she was returned to the Trasmediterránea, and she was initially moved to the port of Cádiz, where she underwent extensive repair and renovation. She returned to Palma and was assigned to the Barcelona, ​​Valencia and Alicante routes. Between 1950 and 1953 it underwent another profound renovation in the Nuevo Vulcano workshops in Barcelona. She was decommissioned on 10 October 1973 and in 1974 she was acquired by a Valencian company, which sold it for scrapping on 11 December of the same year.

The Vicente Puchol ship was built in the shipyards of the Unión Naval de Levante, in Valencia, launched on 27 April 1968 and delivered to the Transmediterránea Company on 8 January 1969. It was a mixed cargo and passenger ship, with a capacity for 400 people and 60 cars. She set sail from Valencia, on her maiden voyage to Ibiza, on 11 January 1969 and continued sailing on bound for Alicante. She later covered the lines between Ibiza, Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante, and later the lines from Malaga and from Almería to Melilla. In 1980, the Vicente Puchol was de facto withdrawn from the active fleet of the Transmediterránea Company, being used exclusively in occasional services. After some unsuccessful sales attempts, on 14 January 1986 it left Ceuta bound for Palma de Mallorca, where it was dismantled at the Levante dock and in December 1986 it was sold to the Greek shipowner Attika Shipping Co., who used it for cruises in the Aegean Sea under the name Arcadia. In 1988 she passed into the hands of the Italian operator Star Lauro who renamed her Angelina Lauro and used her for cruises between Venice and the Aegean. In 1992, recovered by Attika, she was chartered by Central de Cruceros for cruises to Seville, on the occasion of EXPO92, with departures from Barcelona and Valencia. In March 2000 she was chartered by Great Lakes Cruises Inc. to cruise the Great Lakes of Canada and the United States during the summer season of 2001. In 2002, after the suspension of payments by Great Lakes Cruises, on 14 July, the Arcadia was seized and moved to Montreal to be sold at auction. On 6 December of the same year, she was auctioned and reacquired by Attika Shipping through its instrumental subsidiary Anaconda Maritime Inc., which renamed the vessel Caribic Star for Caribbean cruises. Later, under the name Coco Explorer 2, it passed into Taiwanese and Filipino hands, to date.

The Virgen de África was a Transmediterránea Company ferry built in Valencia by the Unión Naval de Levante shipyard in 1953. Its length was 103.6 m and its beam was 16.6 m. She was scrapped in 1989.

The Ciudad de Compostela ship was built by the Spanish Shipbuilding Society in Sestao (Biscay). She was launched on July 2, 1966 and delivered to the Company on June 30, 1967. She had a length of 123.3 m and a beam of 19.2 m. Its capacity was 500 passengers. She covered the lines between Barcelona and the Balearic Islands, and occasionally also those of Barcelona-Canary Islands and Cádiz-Canary Islands. On January 26, 1992, she was sold to the European Seaways company and, under the new name of European Star and Valetta registration, she was delivered to the port of Tarragona, setting sail that same day. In Greek shipyards she underwent extensive reform. In 1994 it was renamed Saray Star by the Maltese company Libton Shipping Inc. On June 10, 1994, 28 miles north of Kefalonia en route from Piraeus to Venice, it caught fire, and on June 13 it sank in the situation 38º 48'N and 20º 09'E.

The ship Juan March was built in Valencia by the shipyards of the Unión Naval de Levante, for the Compañía Transmediterránea. She was launched on December 4, 1965 and entered into service in July 1966. Her overall length is 130.80 m, and her beam is 19.25 m. Initially she had capacity for 500 passengers in berths and 250 in seats. In 1985 Transmediterránea sold it to Sol Mediterranean Services Ltd., of Cyprus, which called it Sol Christina, and in 1986 it was bought by another Cypriot company Opal Lines, which called it Kipros Star and kept it in service until 1989. Later it became owned by Shipping and Commercial Corp. and had various names: Ocean Majesty (1989 - 1995), Homeric (1995) and, again, Ocean Majesty (since 1995).

The ferry Ciudad de Tarifa was built by the Unión Naval de Levante, in Valencia, for the Compañía Transmediterránea. She was launched on October 7, 1959 and delivered on April 12, 1961. She was assigned to cover the lines of the Strait of Gibraltar, especially between Algeciras and Tangiers, and occasionally made trips between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. On March 9, 1984 she was sold to the Greek company Agapitos Brothers, from Piraeus, who renamed her Apollon, and in 1985 she was renamed Corfu Island. On May 20, 1986, while being repaired in Perama (Piraeus), due to an accident it sank and could not be refloated: it remained 32 years under the waters of the port of Perama, and was finally recovered on June 11 2018 to scrap it.

The Juan J. Sister ferry was built by Kværner Masa-Yards in Turku (Finland). She was launched on November 24, 1992 and completed and delivered to the Transmediterránea Company on May 12, 1993. She is 151.1 meters long, 26.0 wide and 6.0 draft. Her capacity is 556 passengers, with 406 berths in 142 cabins, and the rest in seats. She made her first trip with passengers between Cádiz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Between October and November 1995 she underwent maintenance and some modification work in Valencia and Barcelona. She has her base port in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In addition to the maritime connections between the Canary Islands and the Peninsula, she has covered, among others, the Málaga-Melilla, Almería-Melilla, Barcelona-Mahón, Valencia-Palma de Mallorca and Almería-Nador (Morocco) lines.

[Construido el año 1895 en los astilleros A. G. Vulkan Werke de Stettin, Alemania, con el nombre de "Crefeld", fue adquirido por el Gobierno español el 25 de octubre de 1918 y fue adjudicado a la Compañía Trasmediterránea por una Real Orden de 16 de febrero de 1924. Prestó servicio como correo trasatlántico; iniciaba los viajes en Barcelona, haciendo escala en los puertos de Málaga y Cádiz, entre otros, antes de rendir viaje en Buenos Aires y Montevideo. El 20 de octubre de 1924 fue rebautizado con el nombre de "Teide" y sometido a una amplia transformación en la factoría Nuevo Vulcano de Barcelona. Destinado inicialmente al tráfico con las islas Canarias, en febrero de 1931 se incorporó a la línea de Guinea que hasta entonces cubría la Compañía Trasatlántica y que a partir de esa fecha realizó la Compañía Trasmediterránea. El 15 de mayo de 1932 zarpó de Barcelona en el que sería su último viaje. El 20 de mayo dejaba Cádiz por la popa, con 35 pasajeros y 110 tripulantes, con destino a Santa Isabel de Fernando Poo. En Monrovia embarcaron 65 braceros que eran empleados en las faenas de a bordo, y que estaba previsto desembarcaran en el mismo puerto en el viaje de regreso. En San Carlos fueron 400 los pasajeros nativos que subieron a bordo con destino a Bata, y es durante esta travesía, a las 3 de la madrugada del 8 de junio, cuando el "Teide" embarrancó en punta Oscura, al SO de la isla de Fernando Poo, en un lugar llamado por los nativos Etepo, junto al río Baña y muy próximo a punta Sagre. Afortunadamente no hubo desgracias personales, y tanto el pasaje como la tripulación fueron recogidos por el buque mixto de bandera británica "Appam" y trasladados a Santa Isabel."
