The Chemins de fer de Provence (CP), known as Train des Pignes, is a meter gauge railway network with a length of 151 km providing a daily passenger service between Nice and Digne-les-Bains. The line was built between 1881 and 1884. The Chemins de fer de Provence company, created in 1925 to replace the Compagnie des chemins de fer du Sud de la France (SF), has now disappeared, but its remains attached to the Nice - Digne line, the only one remaining in activity.
