The Costa Riviera was a historic cruise ship operated by Costa Crociere from 1984 until 2002. Originally built in 1963 as the passenger liner SS Guglielmo Marconi, she was rebuilt into a dedicated cruise ship and sailed Caribbean and European itineraries before being sold for scrap in 2002.

Snälltåg (abbreviated St in Sweden) is an old name for fast passenger trains in Finland and Sweden. Express train service in Sweden began in 1862 between Stockholm and Gothenburg. The express train concept experienced a revival in Sweden in 2013 when the operator Snälltåget adopted its current name. Thus, the express train concept was reborn in Sweden.

Interflug GmbH (German: Interflug Gesellschaft für internationalen Flugverkehr m.b.H.), founded on 18 September 1958, was the national airline of the German Democratic Republic from 1963 to 1990. Headquartered in East Berlin, it operated scheduled and charter flights to European destinations. and intercontinental flights from its operations center at Berlin Schönefeld airport. It ceased operations on April 30, 1991.
The Ilyushin Il-62 (Russian: Илью́шин Ил-62), produced between 1963 and 1975, is a Soviet narrow-body, long-range airliner conceived in 1960 by Ilyushin.

The Boeing 727 is an American narrow-body airliner that was developed and produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. On 5 December 1960, the 727 was launched with 40 orders each from United Airlines and Eastern Air Lines. The first 727-100 rolled out on 27 November 1962, first flew on 9 February 1963, and entered service with Eastern on 1st February 1964. In 1984, production ended with 1,832 built. Caracteristics: Wing span, 32.92 m; Lenght, 48.02 m; Height, 10.36 m; Cruising speed, 870 Km/h; Maximum range with full load, 1,965 Km; Seats, 151.

Jaskinia Raj ('Paradise Cave') is a horizontal karstic limestone cave located inside the Malik hill, at Chęciny, to the south of Kielce. The cave has a length of 240 m (790 ft) and vertical range of 9.5 m (31 ft) however, only a section of 180 m (590 ft) length and two entrances are open to visitors. Its corridors lead through five chambers and caverns, that are ornamented with speleothems, such as stalactites, stalagmites and columns of calcified rock deposited over tens of thousands of years. The cave was discovered in 1963 by Józef Kopeć and Feliks Wawrzeńczak, students of a local technical school. After extensive research and documentation by Tymoteusz Wróblewski and Zbigniew Rubinowski, geologists at the Świętokrzyskie branch of the Polish Geological Institute it was opened to the public in 1972.

The 11.27 m lake ship Winkelried, with a capacity of between 700 and 1,200 people, belonging to the fleet of the Schifffahrtsgesellschaft des Vierwaldstättersees (Lake Lucerne Navigation Company, commonly abbreviated to SGV), based in the city of Lucerne, was put in service in 1963.

The Trans-St-Laurent is a passenger and ferry riverboat that regularly connects the towns of Rivière-du-Loup and Saint-Siméon, on the Saint Lawrence River (Quebec province, Canada). It was built in 1963. Its total length is 79.84 m (262 ft) and its width is 18.20 m (59.7 ft). She has a draft of 4.2 m (13.78 ft). The load capacity of it is 2,173 gross tons.

The
ferry Ciudad de Tarifa was built by the Unión Naval de Levante, in
Valencia, for the Compañía Transmediterránea. She was launched on October 7,
1959 and delivered on April 12, 1961. She was assigned to cover the lines of
the Strait of Gibraltar, especially between Algeciras and Tangiers, and
occasionally made trips between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. On
March 9, 1984 she was sold to the Greek company Agapitos Brothers, from
Piraeus, who renamed her Apollon, and in 1985 she was renamed Corfu Island.
On May 20, 1986, while being repaired in Perama (Piraeus), due to an accident
it sank and could not be refloated: it remained 32 years under the waters of
the port of Perama, and was finally recovered on June 11 2018 to scrap it.
