The Finnhansa ferry was built by the Stocznia Gdańska shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland, and launched on 14 September  1993. It operated between Helsinki and Lübeck and between Helsinki and Travemünde, Germany. In 2014, it was sold to the Italian Grimaldi Group, renamed Euroferry Egnazia, and used on various Mediterranean routes. Transferred to Trasmediterránea (Spain) in January 2022, it was renamed Ciudad de Alcudia. Since April 2024, it has operated under the Cypriot flag as the Alcudia Express and is based in the port of Limassol.
