RÄLSBUSS
Postage stamp issued un Sweden in 2006.
The rälsbuss—a self-propelled rail vehicle resembling a bus—gained popularity in Sweden starting in the 1930s (thanks to manufacturers such as Hilding Carlsson) and saw widespread use during the 1950s and 1960s by the state-owned railway company Statens Järnvägar (SJ); the company began withdrawing them from service in 1979, after which they were moved to museums and are now used for tourism purposes.
Merci à Daniel.
