Hotel Guaraní is an iconic building in the city of Asunción, recognized by the city’s municipal government as one of the "Seven Treasures of the Tangible Cultural Heritage of Asunción." It was built in 1961. The building stands 13 stories tall, with 19 rooms on each floor. In its early days, it ranked among the ten best hotels in South America, hosting prominent figures from the worlds of music and cinema, as well as politicians and heads of state.
