Synopsis:

Alphonse Niedermeyer, the incumbent member of parliament, is considering running for re-election. However, family relationships are strained, and he compromises himself by bringing back a rather inconvenient passenger from Paris. This situation sparks rival candidacies in a complex political climate involving a fiercely committed Green feminist and his usual adversary. The election campaign promises to be a difficult one.
