Santa María de Valldonzella is a Cistercian female monastery founded in 1237, located in the former municipality of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles (nowadays belonging to the District of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Barcelona), near the site of the former royal residence of Bellesguard. After various locations, the current building, from 1913, was designed by the architect Bernardí Martorell i Puig (1877-1927). The builder was Josep Bayó i Font (1878-1971), a collaborator of Antoni Gaudí.
