FEVE (Ferrocarriles Españoles de Vía Estrecha = Spanish Narrow Gauge Railways) is a public railway operator founded on 25 September 1965, operated by the Spanish national narrow gauge system, which was managed until its extinction on 31 December 2012, when it passed to Renfe. FEVE has operated a 1250 km narrow gauge network.

The Transcantábrico is a luxury tourist train operated by Renfe from San Sebastián to Santiago de Compostela. The service was inaugurated on 30 July 1983 by the public operator FEVE, whose management ends in 2012.
