This museum is located in the old El Carmen Convent and presents a large collection of the plant, animal and mineral world: more than 2,000 species of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and crustaceans, nearly 1500 species of plants, more than 500 fossils and 2,000 mineral samples. Also notable is a collection of dinosaur recreations made of painted wood. The museum was inaugurated in 1965 and closed its doors (it is not known if provisionally) in December 2022.
