Avanza Grupo, officially Avanza by Mobility ADO, better known as Grupo Avanza, or simply Avanza, is a Spanish holding company in the road passenger transport sector founded in 2002 after the merger of three companies in the sector: Tuzsa (currently Avanza Zaragoza), Vitrasa and Auto-Res. It is the leading operator of urban and suburban services in Spain, the second in long-haul. It also manages several urban tram networks, one of the Metro (Metro de Granada), as well as service areas and several bus stations. In 2013, the Mexican group ADO acquired the Spanish holding company, thus changing the name to Grupo ADO-Avanza and later in 2018, to Avanza By Mobility ADO.
