The Prague Information Service was a contributory organization established by the capital city of Prague. Its main mission was to support domestic and foreign tourism in Prague. The organization was founded on January 1, 1958 as an independent cultural, informational and educational center, whose purpose was to support tourism in Prague. In July 2020, the Prague Information Service ceased to exist as a result of the transformation from a contributory organization to a new joint-stock company Prague City Tourism.
