The AGMTP (Asociación Gremial Metropolitana de Transporte de Pasajeros [Metropolitan Association of Passenger Transport] was the largest, oldest and most important microbus business organization in Chile before the implementation of Transantiago (2005). It was founded on July 3, 1930 by a group of small bus entrepreneurs, who competed with the trams in the streets of the capital.
