The Hotel d'Italia was founded in 1919 by the flour milling entrepreneur Luis Godio (Bongomanero, Novara, Italy, 1873 - Bahía Blanca, 1957) and closed on January 12, 2011. Acquired in 2013, the building was renovated and reopened as Italia Suite Apartment in September 2026.
