Kłodzko Fortress (German: Festung Glatz) was one of the biggest strongholds in Prussian Silesia. A stronghold on Kłodzko's Castle Hill was mentioned for the first time in the Chronicle of Bohemians, written by Cosmas of Prague. Most probably, it was a complex of wooden buildings, protected with a palisade. In 1742, during the War of the Austrian Succession the city together with its stronghold was conquered by Prussia under Frederick II. During World War II, the fortress housed a Nazi prison administered by the Reich Ministry of Justice and Wehrmacht. In January and February 1945, many prisoners from other locations were brought to the prison during either death marches or transports. A part of the prison's population was sent in January 1945 to nearby Ząbkowice Śląskie. With the defeat of Germany in the war, the fortress, along with the town, became again part of Poland in 1945.

The work of this underground complex was commenced in the middle of 1943. It led to the creation of a huge system of concrete corridors, fortifications and halls. The purpose of this work was kept secret. Some claim it was meant to be Adolf Hitler’s secret headquarters. Others say these halls were built for underground armament factories designated to produce secret weapon.

The Sanctuary of Paller is a historic building constructed between 1747 and 1748. The original sanctuary was located at the Paller de Dalt farmhouse, where remains of the aforementioned church, dating back to 1200 and once frequented by many devotees, can still be seen. It was under the jurisdiction of the Bagà Monastery, and the original church was rebuilt in 1687.

The Château du Clos de Vougeot was built between the 12th and 16th centuries in the Cistercian and Renaissance styles. Located in the heart of the Clos Vougeot vineyard in Vougeot (Burgundy), on the Route des Grands Crus wine route connecting Dijon and Beaune, it has been listed as a historical monument since 1948 and is managed by the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Brotherhood of the Knights of the Wine Tasting Cup). Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015, it became the headquarters of the Climats of Burgundy.

Piazza dell'Anfiteatro is a public square in the northeast quadrant of the walled center of Lucca. The ring of buildings surrounding the square follows the elliptical shape of the former second century Roman amphitheater. The square can be reached through four gateways located at the four vertices of the ellipse. The base of the former amphitheater is now some 3 meters below the ground surface.

Kołobrzeg Lighthouse is on the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea, located in Kołobrzeg (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The history of the Kołobrzeg Lighthouse dates back to 1666. In World War II the lighthouse was blown up by German engineers as it was a good look-out point for the Polish artillery in March 1945. After the Second World War the lighthouse was built at a slightly different location from the original, using the foundations of the fort buildings complex located close to the town. The lighthouse is 26 metres tall, with the range of its light glare being 29.6 kilometres.

The Parc de Wesserling is a private garden classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France. The park is located at the site of the hunting lodge of the prince-abbey of Murbach (1699), and is composed of formal French gardens, an English park, a kitchen garden, a field garden, and a contemporary statuary garden. Trees include a giant sequoia, Virginia tulip, red oak, cypress, linden and maple, plus acacia and many kinds of seasonal flowers.
