Chata Baców is a mountain tourist lodge of the Polish Tourist and Tourism Society in the Beskid Żywiecki. It was founded in 1967 as the PTTK "Smrek" lodge, when the Babiogórski PTTK branch in Żywiec bought a villa situated at an altitude of 630 m above sea level, called "Smrek", from a private owner. Later, the lodge was temporarily renovated and five camping houses were built nearby. In 1987, after the renovation, the name of the facility was changed to "Chata Baców", referring to the headquarters of the PTTK Bacówka Players' Club, which has been located there since 1983. The lodge has 18 beds, a dining room and a buffet. Next door there is a place for a campfire and a place for camping.
