Prignitzer Eisenbahn GmbH (PEG) was a railway company based in Berlin. It was part of the Netinera Group. Founded in June 1996 by Thomas Becken, it initially took over operations of several secondary lines in the Prignitz region using low-cost railcars to prevent their imminent closure in northwestern Brandenburg. It later expanded its operations to other parts of Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia, and became responsible for the rail infrastructure of some lines in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It ceased operations in 2012.
