Informative brochure.
Between 1694 and 1907 the Będlewo estate belonged to the Potocki family, and then to the Miączyński and Ledóchowski families. The neo-Gothic Będlewo Palace, with an irregular plan, was built by Bolesław Eulogiusz Potocki in 1866. Inside the palace there is interesting decoration in English Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Gothic forms. Some of the equipment and carriage collection, however, were looted during World War II. Since 1945, the palace housed an agricultural school and since 1975 it is the headquarters of the conference center of the Poznań branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 1996, the building has been owned by the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The palace complex is surrounded by a 19th century landscaped park.
