The Vindobona (Latin name for Vienna) is an excursion ship for tours and events on the Danube in and around Vienna. Belongs to the shipping company DDSG Blue Danube Schiffahrt GmbH. She was built in 1979 at the Österreichische Schiffswerften AG (ÖSWAG) shipyard on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Erste Donau-Dampfschifffahrts-Gesellschaft (First-Danube-Steamboat-Shipping Company). She has a length of 39.66 m and a width of 7 m, and capacity for 240 passengers. The maximum speed of her is 13.5 knots (25 km / h).
