Embraer S.A. (Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A.) is a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer that produces commercial, military, and executive aircraft. It is headquartered in São José dos Campos (São Paulo), with sales and maintenance offices in the United States and Portugal, as well as commercial offices in France, Singapore, and China. It was founded by the Federal Government of Brazil on 19 August 1969.
